Cooney girls earn all tournament, all-state, and all conference honors in volleyball

Fenske earns first team all-state, all-tournament, and all-conference honors.

Two Cooney seniors, Leah Fenske and Heather Moutvic were named to the Wisconsin Volleyball Coaches Association all-tournament team at the conclusion of the WIAA girls state volleyball tournament last weekend.

OHS won two matches at Green Bay, against Neenah and Verona, before falling to state champ Divine Savior Holy Angels in five sets Saturday to finish second.

Fenske was also named to the first team all-state team by the coaches while Moutvic was a second team choice.

Another Cooney player, junior Natalie Perrault, was an honorable mention coaches selection.

Fenske and Perrault were also selected to the Wisconsin Little Ten all conference team by the conference’s coaches. Named to the second team were Moutvic, Hailey Leader, and Demi Rae Dunham, while Amanda Garvens was given an honorable mention nod. All are seniors, except Perrault and Garvens.
