Senior Nick Johnston’s header capped the scoring for OHS Tuesday night at Beaver Dam as the OHS varsity boys soccer team defeated Beaver Dam, 2-0, to earn the undisputed 2015 Wisconsin Little Ten championship.

Gracia’s first half and Johnston’s second half goals, Bobke’s defense seal the deal for OHS

Sam Garcia’s first-half goal, with an assist from Dominic Briggs, and Nick Johnston’s second-score carried the OHS boys varsity soccer team to an undisputed Wisconsin Little Ten title Tuesday night at Beaver Dam. Going into the match at Prairie View Elementary school, OHS was assured of at least a share of the title, while a Beaver Dam win would have earned it a tie with OHS for the crown. The win left OHS with a 6-1 conference record. Beaver Dam fell to 3-1-3. Oconomowoc also moves out to a 11-1-5 record overall. The Cooney win also also means it will host a first round match in the WIAA playoffs against a lower seeded opponent yet to be determined. Junior goalkeeper Josh Bobke, recording his 10th shutout of the season, was outstanding in goal for OHS as he battled a strong wind and in the first half, the sun in his eyes.
